The expression on Kengo's face from those words was clearly not a happy one. Even though he was exhausted and looked worse than usual, that much was certainly clear. He stared at Ryusei for a few moments before turning his head away. Closing his eyes, Kengo took in a deep breath, held it for a few seconds, and then released it. If Gentarou had been there, it was likely there would be hell to pay, but while Kengo didn't tone down his rough attitude around anyone, it seemed he'd warmed up to Ryusei almost as much as he had to Yuuki. It probably was for the best that they had pressured him to come in their place.

"Tossing it around..." The words weren't forming a question. It was just Kengo's utter disbelief that Gentarou would do something so stupid. There was a quiet, frustrated noise from Kengo as he picked the Switch up from the bedside table before Ryusei could take it, far more light with it than his current mood would have suggested he would be. As angry as he might be, Kengo had always been able to force himself to only using gentle touches with anything relating to his work. He held the Switch in the palm of one hand, rolling it into his other and looking it over to see if he could figure out what was wrong without running tests. "It's still no excuse for what he did. He knows better."

Now he definitely sounded angry.

The distraction did seem to help in one way, however. While Kengo was examining the Switch, he casually responded to Ryusei's offer, though there was still the tone of annoyance in his voice. "... sure."
