"Sakuta..." Was starting out like that really the best way to go? It felt so informal with the way Ryusei kept addressing him and especially since the conversation right now was geared towards Kengo calling him anything but that. Biting at his lip, Kengo continued to stare down at the floor. There really was no point in avoiding it anymore, was there? Maybe...
"Ryusei..." He tried again. The name still felt strange in his mouth. What was the real reason that he avoided it so much? Keeping distance between them, maybe, but Kengo knew how much he cared about the other even if he didn't want to admit it to anyone, including himself. He'd never stopped to think about why it bothered him. Maybe it was just because it was so unfamiliar.
There had to be more he could say. Something... Kengo struggled to think of words he could speak that would make the situation better, but something like that had never been a strong point for him.
"Don't leave, yet..." At the very least, Kengo could stall him for another minute, right?
