wishuponthestars: (She suffocates me.)

Hayami would have never dreamed of letting someone intimidate him (other than Gamou and perhaps Leo), but there was the slightest shift in his stance with one foot sliding back a bit further before he settled into his new position. Fighting was something he hadn't come all this way for and it seemed like Yamada was more intent on proving his power than simply talking. ... how annoying, but Hayami had to remind himself that Yamada was still a child. At this age, it was normal for them to act out, which is where his role as a principal felt appropriate to him. Sometimes punishments were required to keep someone in their place.

"Controlling weak minded students in an attempt to convince yourself that you're capable of much greater things... While it's a step in the right direction, you shouldn't be so delusional at your stage as to assume you're on the same level as the rest of us, Yamada-kun." Hayami kept one hand at his pocket, mirroring Yamada. He was well aware of how much he would upset the other student, but lowering himself to be polite when this child kept talking back to him... He wasn't going to stand for it.
