"There's nothing to discover when I can't run tests on the system itself. Whenever I think of something new, I make a note of it." When working on Switches, Kengo's mind tended to wander and go over a lot of different information, whether it was related to the subject at hand or not. The way one Switch reacted to something or a certain path of development would make him think of a way to improve an older one -- so he always happened to make note of those as well.

Sometimes, it just happened to relate to the Meteor system. Or at least his theories about it. "It's part of the system my father developed. I want to know where it came from and how it's different. Fourze was left here when I discovered the Hatch... I don't know where Meteor came from." Was it a system his father had worked on as well? Had it been stolen from him? Or developed from research his father had done? "... if I can find out more about Meteor, then maybe I can figure out something I don't know about Fourze's capabilities."

Aside from that, part of him wanted to help Meteor so the other could aid in their fight, but Meteor didn't show any signs of wanting allies. There was also a very strange suspicion he'd had about the other.

"I wonder what he's fighting for. If it's for the same reason I am."
